Hughes/Turner Project - Can't Stop Rock'n'Roll ITALIAN tour 2002
REPORT
Well, guys, the Italian tour is over, and it's now time to sum up what happened in the three days from 20 to 22 of september. I'd like to thank and greet everyone I met in Marghera, Ancona and Pontoglio. I tried to answer to every person, and even if sometimes I peeled myself away, I'm really sorry for everything but I was really too caught up. I'm sorry again for everyone who was waiting Glenn after the show for the autographs. I tried to do the possible and the impossible. In Marghera I took with me a lot of cd, lp, posters, cigarette boxes, even paper toilet in the backstage to make autographs. I couldn't do more than that. There was tension in the air. Maybe because that's the first time of Glenn in Italy, maybe because they played four nights in succession, but heavy air was there. I know you will understand. Expecially in Pontoglio, where I met many friends, I would liked Glenn to come outside at the end of the show. Unfortunately this hasn't been possible. I can only forward to you the kiss that he gave me when he went away.
But the important thing is the show. And seeing your faces after the gig, I have no doubts. It was everything so beautiful that you were quenched. As the technicians say, the three shows were a success: about 2.500 persons in total, so the both parts are satisfied. It's a concrete possibility that there will be another chapter.
Thanks particularly to Cesare, Davide and all the Marghera crew. Giampiero Frulli (my other half of the site, he does the graphics, the animations, updates the pages for you and translate it in English), Enrico "Eminem" Frulli, Giorgio Restelli (you know how the thing goes), J.J. Marsh (we always have a good time with him, he's a good friend), Thomas Broman and Joackim Svalberg, Elia Faustini that made the tour possible. Infinite thanks to Tonio Neuhaus (MTM): I broke him balls for three days on... what patience. Joe "Giuseppe" Lynn Turner. What a great genial happy person. Really a pleasant one. But I want to thank two persons expecially, Mr. Glenn "muscle and blood" Hughes. Thank you very much, I love you, man !!! And Daniela, that suffers me from many years and in that three days hardly saw me around. I love you baby. Now I hope that you'll like the pictures, in the next days we will had the HTP Live in Japan review, and in a few others we will open the Italian GH forum, where you can ask and exchange opinions on what concerns Glenn Hughes and other. Don't forget to send your photos and to visit the official site www.glennhughes.com and the American site www.ghpg.net. There you find always interesting things. Our Giampiero will review the three gigs. In the meantime I greet you hoping to meet in the next tour.
